Hundreds of supporters of the film and television industry and the tax incentive program were at the State House in Boston today to urge state legislators to keep the incentive in place as it is now.

A number of proposals have been filed to dismantle or weaken the program. The Legislature is now debating the state budget, where opponents in the past have tried to attack the program.

If you were not at the State House today please:

  • Use the link at the bottom of this message to email your State Legislators NOW in support of the Film & Television Incentive program.
  • Take the time to also call your state senator TODAY and tell them you support the Film & Television Incentive program and that any changes to it will have a negative impact on your job and the hundreds of businesses that benefit from the film and television industry.

You can find out who your state senator is here: https://malegislature.gov/People/Search. In the "Search by Location" section on the right, just write in your town and zip code, choose "Senate" in the branch drop down, and submit. Don't forget to let the Senator's office know that you are a constituent and provide an address.
