Last Thursday night, as part of his State of the State address, the governor announced his intent to file legislation to make extreme changes to the Film & TV Incentive Program. The details of this proposal will be released later this week, but at this time, it does appear likely that this proposal will have a significant impact on the program’s future. Once this proposal is filed this week, your union and our coalition partners will analyze its impact, and send this information out to you along with any appropriate action steps that may need to be taken.

Thank you.
