As our SAG-AFTRA offices re-open to the public tomorrow, we are doing our best to protect members and staff as face-to-face interactions resume. Zoom links will continue to be available in most instances for those who would like to attend committee and board meetings remotely. 

Throughout the pandemic, our dedicated staff that were designated as essential in-office workers have continued to report to offices to perform vital work to serve the members, while other staff worked remotely. As additional staff now return to offices, we are maintaining our efforts to keep them safe by ensuring SAG-AFTRA’s vaccination and masking policy remains in place. 

Pursuant to an action approved by the National Board, these same safety protocols will extend to members and guests visiting offices across the country, subject to any applicable state or local laws.

Please note, all members and guests who attend a meeting or event at a SAG-AFTRA office will need to confirm that they have been vaccinated and have received at least one booster through the use of the CLEAR Health Pass. This is a free app available for you to download on your smartphone. You may recognize CLEAR as its services are used by travelers in most major U.S. airports; and the free CLEAR Health Pass is used to validate vaccination for entry to stadiums and venues across the country. 

Here are the easy steps to get set up with CLEAR’s Health Pass:

  • Download the free CLEAR app to your mobile device and tap the white Health Pass tile.
  • Select ‘Have a code?’ and enter SAGAFTRAOFFICE.
  • Easily enroll with your government issued ID or if you are already a CLEAR member, verify your identity with a quick selfie.
  • Follow the prompts to provide proof of vaccination. Please allow 24 hours for CLEAR to validate your information.
  • Upon arrival at a SAG-AFTRA office, reopen the CLEAR Health Pass and show your pass at check-in. Green is good to go!

It’s important to note that if you are unable to provide proof of vaccination through the app to visit our offices in person, SAG-AFTRA is still happy to serve you remotely via Zoom, phone or online chat via sagaftra.org. Brief visits to our offices to drop off or pick up items do not require presentation of a CLEAR Health Pass.

We will do our best to make this transition as seamless as possible, and we ask that you be patient with the dedicated staff that serves you as we work to ramp up our in-person activities.
