Dear Members,

Hurricane Sandy looks to be on her way out and as many of us start to assess the damage and try to get back to normal we want all of our members to know that SAG-AFTRA can be a resource during this difficult time. Be sure to regularly check SAG-AFTRA's website (www.sagaftra.org) for up-to-date information.

Many of us relied on our fellow union members at CBS3, NBC10, and KYW Newsradio for information and should continue to do so. For those members who are without power and need a place to check and send emails, consider our Center City office which is back open for business.  And as a potential source of some relief for those members who have suffered a financial hardship during this storm, make sure you access The Actors Fund (due to sporadic power outages, The Actors Fund is communicating via Twitter (@TheActorsFund) and Facebook (www.facebook.com/actorsfund)) and Union Plus at www.unionplus.org/money-credit/natural-disaster-relief-fund for available financial and other resources.

The definition of “union” is a group who are together for a common purpose.  During this time we are more “union” than ever.

In unity,

Catherine and John
Philadelphia Co-Presidents
