High Level Summary:

Covering the employment of On-Camera and Off-Camera performers which includes Singers, Dancers and Background for projects ranging from $250,000 to $30 million.

Includes four tiers based on the project’s all-in production budget:

Tier 1 - $250,000 to $1 million

Tier 2 - $1 million to $5 million

Tier 3 - $5 million to $15 million

Tier 4 - $15 million to $30 million

Payment Structure:

All rates quoted are minimums and do not limit the performer’s right to negotiate for better rates, terms, or conditions of employment.

High Level Overview:

4 Hour Day: Off-Camera Performers

8 Hour Day: On-Camera Performers

Residuals:

Additional Compensation is a secondary payment based on each 500,000 units sold or subscriber/users up to a maximum of two secondary payments.

Health and Retirement:

The Health and Retirement Contribution is equal to 17% of the total gross salary including agent’s commission if applicable.

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • President’s Day
  • Memorial Day
  • July Fourth
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

Overtime:

On-Camera Performer:

  OT for the 9-10th hour is payable at time and one half

  OT after the 10th hour is payable at double time

Off-Camera Performer:

For performers engaged on a 1 hour pay:

  OT after the 1 hour is payable at the 4 hour session rate

For performers engaged on a 4 hour day:

  OT for the 5-6th hour is payable at time and a half

  OT after the 7th hour is payable at double time

For performers engaged on a 6 hour day:

  OT for the 7-8th hour is payable at time and a half

  OT after the 9th hour is payable at double time

Weekend Work:

Performers receive double time for Saturday and Sunday work, regardless of the length of the work week.

Holiday:

When working on any of the Tiered I-IMA holidays, all performers are paid double time for the first eight (8) hours of work.

Vocal Stress:

Sessions that contain vocally stressful work may not exceed two (2) hours and is paid based on the Tier to which the project is assigned.

At the time of engagement, the Employer shall notify the performer/agent of the general nature of the work involved and whether voice-matching or vocally stressful work is contemplated.

Producers who do not provide notice shall pay liquidated damages of $100 for each failure to provide a notice of vocally stressful work.
