The Interim Interactive Media Agreement consists of the terms of our last offer to the employer bargaining group before we declared a strike. All provisions and protections within the 2011-2014 IMA, as modified by the 2017 MOA and further by the 2020 MOA apply, except as modified by the Interim Interactive Media Agreement. Student Interactive Waiver Agreement
 

The Student Interactive Waiver Agreement applies to student films that satisfy course requirements at an accredited educational institution recorded entirely in the United States.

The agreement allows students the opportunity to work with SAG-AFTRA members in the development of their education in producing video games.  

Qualifications for producing under the Student IMA Waiver:

  • The project must meet the definition of an Interactive Media Project as defined in the 2025 Independent Interactive Media Agreement.
  • The Student must be either at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • The project must be owned by the Student (Producer).

Game Jam Interactive Media Waiver

This agreement is designed for developers creating videogames at Game Jam events.
Participants include designers and programmers working together as a team to create themed interactive videogames from scratch. Developers are able to work with SAG- AFTRA performers on their projects.
