J. K. Simmons Supports SAG-AFTRA’s Ads Go Union Campaign

I am so proud to see the extraordinary work and solidarity our members displayed during the Screen Actors Guild Awards this past Sunday and I thank all of you for your contributions. From voting for the recipients to watching the show together at our locals’ viewing parties, your contributions and your work are what make our union the best in the world.

There is one incredibly important video that I think every member should see. During the show, member and SAG Award winner J.K. Simmons delivered a special address urging all our members to join in supporting the Ads Go Union campaign. Please watch J.K.'s video below.

Our effort to preserve and grow union commercial work through Ads Go Union, which also includes the strike against ad agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH), Inc., has tremendous momentum. In addition to J.K., high-profile members including Bryan Cranston, Dulé Hill and Jazmyn Simon, Colton Dunn, Henry Winkler, the cast of Grey’s Anatomy including Jason George, James Pickens, Chandra Wilson and Kim Raver; Patrick Fabian, Laverne Cox and my former castmates on Beverly Hills, 90210, have all recorded videos of support.
