Join a SAG-AFTRA Chicago Local Committee

There are many opportunities to get involved at SAG-AFTRA Chicago, including joining a committee. A union is only as strong as its members, and member involvement is the key to all successful unions. Your participation is encouraged and necessary to strengthen our union and create opportunity for all of our members.

Committee participation is a great way to let your voice be heard and it will put you in touch with other performers with shared interests. Most committees meet quarterly, others only when a project or work deems it is necessary. The committee chair will contact you and answer any questions.
