Come join us for an evening with YouTube sensation, lauded filmmaker and accomplished musician Joe Penna a.k.a. YouTube's Mystery Guitar Man for a screening of his recently released feature, Arctic, and a lively conversation with the head of SAG-AFTRA Industry Relations Deborah Skelly, following the film.
Joe Penna is a renowned filmmaker, an accomplished musician and a YouTube phenomenon. As of January 2019, his well-known YouTube Channel, MysteryGuitarMan, garnered over 2.7 million subscribers and his videos nearly 400 million views. In 2018, his highly acclaimed first feature film, Arctic, was an official selection at the Cannes Film Festival. Not long after, in 2019, Penna began shooting his soon to be released sci-fi movie, Stowaway, starring Anna Kendrick and Toni Collette.
Deborah Skelly is the head of Industry Relations at SAG-AFTRA. Over the course of her career she has been a production and development executive in film and television, a William Morris talent agent, a digital CEO and an attorney practicing in the areas of entertainment and copyright law. She is a published novelist.
