Letter from the SAG-AFTRA Seattle Local President

Dear SAG-AFTRA Seattle Local Members,

This message is to notify you that following the recent Seattle Local elections there are several vacancies that need to be filled on the Seattle Local Board. The following four (4) open seats are available to be filled: one (1) Local Board Member - Alaska position and three (3) Local Board Member at Large positions. 

Per our Local Constitution, vacancies are to be filled by the Local Board. If you are interested in serving on the Seattle Local Board please email your professional name, SAG-AFTRA ID and phone number to seattle@sagaftra.org with “Board Service” in the subject line and note in the message if you are interested in serving in the Local Board Member - Alaska seat (must reside in Alaska) or in one of the three Member-at-Large seats (may reside in any state assigned to the Seattle Local) by Monday, Oct. 25. 

Members who submit a request for service and are determined eligible to serve will be considered for appointment by the Local Board. Once appointed, members will serve until the next regular election in 2023. If you have any questions regarding eligibility to serve, please email seattle@sagaftra.org.
