Livestreaming for recording artists — all performers really — has soared during quarantine, and in some ways, may be here to stay! It’s not just a substitute for in-person shows, but it can be an effective way to connect with fans and grow your social communities.
Please join the President’s Task Force on Education, Outreach & Engagement for Livestreaming for the Virtual Stage. Here’s your opportunity to learn about performing for the internet and ways to augment your current set-up with minimal expense. We’ll take a deep dive into a wide array of streaming platforms, protocols and equipment currently available. Dan has uniquely and unequalled expertise to share, with over 200 livestreams produced in just the last 10 months.
Please submit questions or comments to sagaftra.org/PTEOEquestions. Unless otherwise requested, your name may be read aloud during the program if your question is selected. Due to time limitations, not all questions will be addressed during or after the program.
This PTEOE livestream will have an ASL interpreter and is live captioned.
This program will be recorded and may be later shared in whole or in part on SAG-AFTRA’s website, podcast and social media channels.
