SAG-AFTRA New York Local President Ezra Knight welcomes members to the 2024 New York Local membership meeting, held on May 13 at the DGA Theater in Manhattan. Union leaders gave reports on the many achievements and events of the last year, including the historic TV/Theatrical/Streaming strike and the resulting groundbreaking contract. Following the reports, the prestigious Joseph C. Riley Award was presented to New York Communications Committee member Jeffrey Spurgeon for his outstanding contribution to SAG-AFTRA through local committee service.
