Local Leadership Reaches Out to Local Industry

Even though the local is not meeting in person yet, the Arizona-Utah Local leadership continues to explore ways to serve members. Earlier this year, the local solicited headshots from local members. The local Communications Committee took those headshots and, with staff assistance, created a GIF to share with people in the local industry so they can see some of the many faces of Arizona-Utah members and get information about SAG-AFTRA agreements. The first leg of this outreach campaign is focused on targeting producers of local and regional commercials to let them know about the Arizona-Utah Regional Commercials code. Commercial production has not stopped in Arizona and Utah, and local leaders are working to create more union jobs.
