Join your fellow SAG-AFTRA members for the 2022 Arizona-Utah Local Virtual Membership Meeting.  

This year's meeting will focus on incentives in Arizona and Utah. Randy Murrary of AFDMC and Jeff Johnson of MPAU will be our guest speakers. Members will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions of guests, elected representatives and staff. We hope to see you there!

Join the President’s Task Force on Education Outreach and Engagement for a two-part update on everything you need to know before filing your 2021 taxes.

This presentation is split into two parts. We recommend participating in both sessions to get answers to all four of these questions.

Establishing inclusive space and equal access for performers of color on set for hair and makeup creates more comfortable workplaces for actors and helps productions meet stated commitments to equity and inclusion.

Presented in partnership between SAG-AFTRA and American Film Market on Nov. 2, 2021, SAG-AFTRA member Tiffany Yvonne Cox, LA Local Board Member Jason George, National Vice President, Los Angeles Michelle Hurd and moderator David White, SAG-AFTRA senior advisor and former national executive director, discussed how we can advance our shared goals of equity in the workplace by raising awareness on this important issue.

The 28th Annual SAG Awards are less than a week away! We’re celebrating by throwing back to Robert De Niro joining then- SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris after receiving SAG-AFTRA’s highest tribute: the SAG Life Achievement Award. The interview was recorded in February of 2020.

Tune in to the SAG Awards on Feb. 27 at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET on TBS and TNT as we celebrate 57th Life Achievement honoree Helen Mirren and all of this years’ unforgettable performances.

The last few years have brought trauma upon trauma for journalists: coronavirus, election coverage, the insurrection at the Capitol, protests for racial justice, fires, hurricanes and escalating crime and gun violence.

SAG-AFTRA is currently conducting a Wages & Working Conditions (“W&W”) process in preparation for the SAG-AFTRA Commercials and Audio Commercials Contracts (“Commercials Contracts”) negotiations. 

As part of this process, SAG-AFTRA will hold a national videoconference presentation on the Pension & Health plans.

The SAG-AFTRA will be conducting a national Wages & Working Conditions (“W&W”) meeting for the Mid-sized and Small Locals in preparation for the 2022 SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract and 2022 SAG-AFTRA Audio Commercials Contract (“Commercials”) Negotiations. The Commercials Contracts expire March 31, 2022.

Proposals for this negotiation are developed through the involvement of members like you. Make your voice heard and participate in this very important process. Meetings are open to all paid-up SAG-AFTRA members*.
