This group is intended for everyone who does the challenging work of caring for a loved one who is an older adult (whether a partner, spouse, parent, friend or other family). This initiative gives voice to the caregiver in a supportive, confidential and safe space, as well as looking at the importance of self-care, including mind-body exercises, community, discussion and expression for replenishment and empowerment.

Virtually join other performing arts and entertainment professionals to discuss the stress of change and the unknown during the COVID-19 pandemic. The eight-week group will be a way to connect with others in the community, reflect on the new normal and develop coping strategies. As some of you might have heard, due to the evolving situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19), The Actors Fund is continually evaluating how we can best promote the health and safety of our community while still providing access to our services. In the meantime it has become necessary to close our Los Angeles office and temporarily transition our in-person programs to online and phone meetings only for the coming weeks.
