Join the Massachusetts Labor Movement in Support of Striking UAW Members.

Join the rally in support of UAW Local 422 and of legislation providing benefits to striking workers. Wear your SAG-AFTRA t-shirt and staff will be there with SAG-AFTRA Strong signs to remind everyone that SAG-AFTRA members stand shoulder to shoulder with our UAW brothers and sisters in our collective fight for fair contracts.

New England members, please join your union brothers and sisters to hear a strike update from local leaders, including Tom Kemp, Vice-Chair of the TV/Theatrical/Streaming Negotiating Committee.  There will be ample time for Q&A. 

Please wear your SAG-AFTRA T-shirt, if you have one. Limited quantities will be available to those that don’t yet have a shirt.

The Boston Teachers Union space is within walking distance of the JFK stop on the Red Line. There is also ample parking.

Join fellow New England members for a fall member mixer at M.J. O’Connor’s!

Members will have an opportunity to network and mingle with other members. Wear your SAG-AFTRA t-shirt for photo opportunities. Light refreshments and a cash bar will be available.

 

RSVP: Members only. No guests. Reservations are required. Space is limited. Please RSVP by 5 p.m., Sunday, October 1. There will be a waitlist. If you must cancel, you must do so within 24 hours of the event so another member may participate.

 

This event is only open to paid-up SAG-AFTRA members in good standing (paid thru April 30, 2023, or in compliance with the November 2022 Dues Relief Extension). No guests are allowed. Parents/guardians of performers under 18 years old are welcome.

Please join us for a strike support rally in Western Mass!

Members and fellow labor leaders, along with the Western Mass Labor Federation, will meet in Pulaski Park in Northampton for a strike support rally at 4:30 p.m. ET.

All members and labor supporters are welcome! There are a variety of parking options in downtown Northampton.

T-shirts will be available while supplies last. Please wear your SAG-AFTRA shirt if you have received one already.

Connecticut members, please come show your support for the SAG-AFTRA TV/Theatrical/Streaming strike! 

Members and supporters will assemble at Broad Street Green on Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. We will take a quick photo together in solidarity! SAG-AFTRA STRONG t-shirts and signs will be provided.

SAG-AFTRA New England members will join Vermont AFL-CIO and fellow labor members and leaders for a worker's roundtable in recognition of the National Day of Solidarity coordinated by the AFL-CIO, SAG-AFTRA and WGA.

Boston Labor Day March and Rally

Meet outside Park Plaza Hotel, march to Downtown Crossing

Join your fellow SAG-AFTRA members and the Boston labor community as the New England Local marches in the 2023 Greater Boston Labor Council Labor Day Breakfast March. SAG-AFTRA will lead the march as we walk through the Boston Common to Downtown Crossing to a rally.

Information on where we will meet up to begin the march, as well as additional information, will be posted soon. Members will also receive a free SAG-AFTRA t-shirt, while supplies last. If you already have one, please wear it!

Members will meet in Lappin Park near the Bewitched statue, march across the street to the Old Town Hall and then walk down Salem Common to a short rally.

SAG-AFTRA New England is showing up to the ballpark! On September 27, show your SAG-AFTRA pride and cheer on the Boston Red Sox from the bleachers with fellow members and supporters. Make sure to wear your SAG-AFTRA Strong t-shirt so every home run the Sox hit will showcase our black and gold. Bring your family and friends. Let’s show up and make it clear that Boston is a union town!
