National Press Club Welcomes President Carteris

This first-of-a-kind reporting tool gives users a safe, discreet and easier way to report workplace sexual harassment, and can be used by anyone who is a SAG-AFTRA member or who worked under a SAG-AFTRA contract. It's the latest tool in the union's industry-leading fight against sexual harassment and it was developed to meet the varying needs of those who experience or witness sexual harassment.

Join us as we sit down with voting rights activist and New York Times bestselling author Stacey Abrams who has made it her mission to advocate for free and fair elections where all people can thrive and let their voices be heard.

We’ll cover recent changes to legislation, her Georgia-based national voting rights organization Fair Fight, Georgia’s SB241 bill, and systems being put in place to undermine democracy and make voting more difficult for Black and multicultural communities. We’ll focus on what can be done to protect these rights to ensure public integrity and equity for all.

2021 New York Local Virtual Membership Meeting

Please join SAG-AFTRA New York Local President Rebecca Damon, New York Local Vice Presidents Maureen Donnelly, Ezra Knight, Liz Zazzi and Jim Kerr along with national President Gabrielle Carteris and Secretary-Treasurer Camryn Manheim, local board members, and staff for a virtual SAG-AFTRA New York Local Membership Meeting. Get updates about the state of the industry, the local production scene and critical legislation impacting members.

Members will have the opportunity to ask questions of union elected representatives and staff. Come and hear the latest news and updates.
