The Los Angeles Local’s Annual Winter Celebration was a night of carols, tinsel and activism held at SAG-AFTRA Plaza, Dec. 12. Welcomed by SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris, Secretary-Treasurer and L.A. Local President Jane Austin and LA Host Committee Chair Vivicca Whitsett, hundreds of members enjoyed food and beverage, posed for photos and were serenaded by holiday carolers throughout the evening. Amidst the food and merriment, members took on the work of jolly St. Nick himself, collecting coal and writing letters to Bartle Bogle Hegarty as part of the Ads Go Union campaign.
