Dallas-Fort Worth Local leaders and Dallas-based staff participated in the MLK Day Parade honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Extended family members joined our union family for a morning of fun and solidarity as we walked approximately one mile down Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. alongside labor leaders from affiliates of the Dallas Central Labor Council. The City of Dallas and H.E.L.P. hosted the parade. Everyone involved was so inspired that the Local’s plans for next year are already underway. Mark your calendar now for Monday, January 15, 2024 to be a part of this important celebration.

If you’d like to get involved and join YOUR Local Union for events like these and others, drop us a line at: dallas@sagaftra.org. We’re always looking for opportunities to engage in our community and increase our Local Union’s visibility.
