Matt Scherer is Senior Policy Counsel for Workers' Rights and Technology Policy at the Center for Democracy & Technology. His work focuses on the use of AI in hiring and other employment decisions, workplace surveillance and privacy, and helping workers use data and technology to empower themselves. He works with other civil society organizations to advocate for governments and private organizations to adopt policies that protect workers’ digital rights and ensure that new technologies enhance social justice and equality.
