Matthew Colvin is the Chief of Staff of the Transportation Trades Department, AFL-CIO (TTD) and leads their policy and advocacy efforts on technology and innovation. Prior to joining TTD, Matthew worked as the Senior Policy Advisor to Congresswoman Elizabeth Esty, the lead advocate for federal infrastructure policy at the National League of Cities, and led transportation and infrastructure policy as the Senior Legislative Assistant to Congressman Albio Sires and as a Legislative Aide to Senator Robert Menendez.
Matthew received his B.A. in Political Science and Environmental Studies from the University of San Diego in 2007, Master of Policy Management from Georgetown University in 2017, and completed the Stanford LEAD Business Program in 2023.
