Workshop Information
- You will explore Meisner’s foundational Repetition Exercise. As you move through these exercises, you’ll discover how listening with genuine intent can create organic, truthful moments on stage and screen.
- Afterwards, participants will pair up for scene exercises. You will receive personalized feedback, helping you refine your approach and sharpen your instincts.
- Throughout the scene work, you will explore how active listening unlocks more genuine and dynamic performance and how to be fully present in the moment.
- The workshop will end with a group discussion and Q&A.
Instructions for Attendees
- Wear comfortable clothing for movement
- Bring a notebook and pen for notes
- A short scene will be given out at the beginning of the conservatory
About Frank Parrillo
Frank Parrillo is an experienced acting coach specializing in the Meisner technique, with a focus on helping actors achieve emotional authenticity in their performances. He has worked with numerous rising stars and is known for his hands-on, practical teaching style that empowers actors to connect deeply with their characters.
