Members of the Chicago Local and staff joined the Chicago Federation of Labor for the 10th Ward’s Annual Labor Day Parade on Saturday, Aug. 31. The weather was perfect, as some members walked the parade route passing out candy and buttons to the crowd. Various members of the Singers & Seniors Committees rode on CFL’s float, singing a variety of songs, including a new labor song written by fellow Senior Committee member John S. Green called Stand Together.
