Members Gather for S.F.-NorCal Local Fall Membership Meeting

The San Francisco-Northern California Local held its fall membership meeting in Oakland on Oct. 21. The meeting hosted a vibrant panel titled A Day in the Life, moderated by Local President Kathryn Howell. SAG-AFTRA members Katie Utehs, Lyndsy Kail, Heather Gordon and Ed Moy shared their experiences working on a diverse range of covered work in the San Francisco-Northern California Local, including in broadcast news, motion performance capture, total capture (voice and motion capture) in video games and background. In addition to distilling a day in their working lives for fellow members, panelists discussed improvements to safety and set conditions because of union representation and the impact of rapid changes in technology on their work and its distribution.
