Members Turn Out for NYC Pride March

Not even the threat of rain could keep SAG-AFTRA members from participating in the 2023 NYC Pride March on June 25 in Manhattan. Fortunately, the weather held and a full contingent of the membership turned out. The group of SAG-AFTRA members commenced the march from 31st Street and 5th Avenue and proceeded toward the Stonewall Inn — a renowned gay bar and National Historic Landmark that holds significance as the birthplace of the 1969 riots that catalyzed the gay rights movement. The contingent then continued along 7th Avenue, met with resounding cheers from enthusiastic onlookers who lined the sidewalks along the entire route. The event served as a powerful demonstration of pride and union solidarity.
