A Message from the Nevada Local President

Dear SAG-AFTRA Nevada Local Member,

I'd like to start off by thanking all the members who attended the Nevada Local SAG Awards viewing party this year. We had a wonderful turnout and I hope you all had a great time. And to all of the winners in our raffle, congratulations. Also I can’t thank the volunteers enough for helping with the setup and cleanup at the event.

As members, you have a direct say in what goes on in your union; you are the union. It’s not some foreign body or an office — it’s all of us, and you have the ability to make a difference in the culture of our community. Your voice matters if you’ll use it.

I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity to get involved with the SAG-AFTRA Nevada Local. When possible, attend membership and committee meetings, participate in social get-togethers, workshops and seminars provided by your union and the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. These are great benefits provided to you as members. Don’t just sit on the sidelines; engage other professionals with similar aspirations and learn how we can create a thriving entertainment community together.
