Message from the New England Local Executive Director

Dear New England Member:

The Park Plaza Office Building, which is home to our local office, is implementing an enhanced security procedure for access to the building effective today.  

All visitors to the building will now need to be pre-registered by authorized staff before security personnel will admit them to our building. This pertains to all building visitors and we are working to minimize any inconvenience to you. 

Accordingly, if you know you will be visiting the local office on a given day, please call the office at (617) 262-8001 and notify any local staff member to pre-register you in advance. If that is not possible and you find yourself in the lobby unregistered, please call (or ask security staff to call) the office so we can enter you into the appropriate database and get you admitted.

We will now be requesting RSVPs for all local events to be held here, especially those held in the evening. Please RSVP (with a maybe) if you think you might attend but are not certain. That will ensure you are on the list and will not be denied access.

We will be working with our building’s management to secure monthly access for board members and committee volunteers who routinely visit the office. If you are among these, you will be pre-registered as meetings require. If you have any special needs or concerns related to this, please contact me at susan.nelson@sagaftra.org. 

I apologize in advance for any inconvenience you may experience. Several consulates are located in our building and we are required to cooperate with building security regulations.
