The Hollywood Commission is interested in your feedback on working in the entertainment industry.

As you may know, I serve as a delegate on The Hollywood Commission, which is working to eliminate sexual assault in the workplace. The Commission is seeking input from SAG-AFTRA members as well as other industry stakeholders through a survey.

Please join me in participating in this survey regarding workplace culture in the entertainment industry. Your input will provide critical data anonymously to assist in developing programs that address harassment and discrimination within our industry.

Please see below an invitation from Anita Hill, chair of The Hollywood Commission, to take the anonymous survey.

Dear Friend,

I’d love your feedback on your experiences working in the entertainment industry. As you may have read, The Hollywood Commission has launched the first-ever survey about workplace culture in the entertainment industry. This survey will gather critical data anonymously that will be used to assist the Hollywood Commission in developing programs that address harassment and discrimination.

The survey is completely anonymous. The more people who take it – actors, directors, producers, writers, musicians, singers, dancers, crafts people, hair/makeup artists, wardrobe/costume stylists, technicians, drivers, assistants, agents, publicists and executives – the more effective it will be. You do not need to have experienced discrimination, bias or harassment to participate in the survey. Every single person that has worked or tried to work in the entertainment business should take it – including those whose experiences have been positive.

Here’s the link for the anonymous survey: www.hollywoodsurvey.org. This survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete and closes on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019.

To get the most accurate information on the state of our industry, we want you to share your experience – good, bad and indifferent. If you would like additional information here is a link to an FAQ

Sincerely,

Anita F. Hill
Chair, The Hollywood Commission
