the Annual Northwest Oregon Labor Day Picnic!
Hello Sisters and Brothers of SAG-AFTRA!
As your SAG-AFTRA Portland Local President, your board and I continue to work hard to provide increased opportunities for membership to get and be involved.
I'm proud to announce that this Labor Day marks our first coupling with other like-minded unionists which make up the Oregon labor movement. And it's going to be quite a party!
When: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday, Sept. 1
Where: Oaks Amusement Park

Join us at Oaks Amusement Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a brief program starting at 1 p.m. Pack a picnic basket or purchase food and beverage "scrip" which sells for 50 cents - deluxe ride bracelets are $9.50. The Oregon Pacific Railroad Shuttle Train will transport people ($5 per person roundtrip for adults, children under 12 ride free) to and from Oaks Amusement Park from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. For schedule and boarding times, please visit their web site at www.oregonpacificrr.com. Additional parking will be available at the Portland Opera, 211 SE Caruthers St., and in the vicinity of SE Ivon and 4th Street.
