Minnesota Film Industry at Forefront of Local Membership Meeting

The SAG-AFTRA Twin Cities Local was joined by Minnesota State Rep. Dave Lislegard and MN Film & TV Executive Director Melodie Bahan at its local membership meeting in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Nov. 18.

The meeting focused on the revival of the local film industry and its resulting positive impact on the state’s economy. Members directly engaged with state officials and got answers to questions that ranged from the highly technical aspects of tax policy and good governance to an in-depth update on the state of Minnesota’s film industry.

Members left the meeting feeling energized and ready to work.
