The Missouri Valley Local tuned into the 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, Jan. 27. Members and guests in attendance at The Nano Pub enjoyed the big night with a little bit of local flair.

This year’s SAG Awards took place at the Shrine Exhibition in Los Angeles, California. Host Megan Mullally served up dance moves and humorous skits throughout the evening. Among the night’s most notable recipients was Bohemian Rhapsody actor and first-time nominee Rami Malek for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, The Wife’s Glenn Close for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and Black Panther for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. Veteran actor and philanthropist Alan Alda received the 55th Lifetime Achievement Award.
