LOS ANGELES, Nov. 3 — SAG-AFTRA and the Networks, along with the signatory Producers of the AFTRA Network Television Code,today commenced negotiations on a successor agreement to the AFTRA National Code of Fair Practice for Network Television Broadcasting. The parties announced a news blackout for the duration of the talks and will have no further comment.
SAG-AFTRA President Ken Howard is chair and National Executive Director David White is chief negotiator for the union.
