Hello Nevada Local Members!
The time has come for us to roll out and show our support for SB220.
SB220 is sponsored by Senator Roberta Lange and in partnership with Birtcher Development and UNLV. This Thursday, April 10, the bill will be presented to the Senate Revenue and Economic Development Committee. If passed, this bill will create thousands of jobs for Nevadans during the construction phase and thousands more in film and TV production moving into the future.
We need to stack this meeting so that the legislators in Carson City can see and hear about the impact the passage of SB220 will have on our lives.
When: Thursday, April 10, 1 p.m.
Where: The Nevada Legislature Building, 7230 Amigo St., Carson City, NV (map)
Why: To support the creation of film/TV studios in Las Vegas.
