During this workshop, the art of the “cold read” will be analyzed and discussed. Come prepared to participate, practice and boost your skills and knowledge (no taping will occur). The workshop will be led by Linda Bearman.

The workshop will help you identify:

  • Current trends in the commercial world.
  • Actions to take in order to generate more opportunities for yourself in and out of the Las Vegas market.
  • Ways to maximize the internet and social media to the best of your abilities.

Cost: SAG-AFTRA members pay$40 a year or $20 per workshop. Non-members pay$80 a year or $20 per workshop.Pay by cash or check only at the event. You will need your SAG-AFTRA ID card to join as a member.

About Linda Bearman
Linda studied with noteworthy instructors from The Actors Studio (NY), Goodman School of Drama (Chicago), Arena Stage (Washington DC) and members of the National Theatre of Great Britain. She has acted on stage and screen, worked behind the scenes and voiced TV/radio spots regionally. Her love for the art of voiceover was discovered 25+ years ago in Los Angeles, where Linda worked for many years in a prestigious agency.  Linda moved to Utah, co-founded and operated an agency and after 10 years of great success happily relocated to Las Vegas. Linda delights in coaching, consulting and developing on-camera and voiceover actors in preparation for launching their careers. She helps to create personally unique marketing strategies. Her clients are scattered throughout the U.S. and range from beginners to very successful working actors. She continues to maintain her industry relationships with colleagues in L.A. Linda is an active member of Craft Acting Studio in Las Vegas, founded by Brad Garrett and headed by master acting teacher Adam Hill.
