On June 8, SAG-AFTRA New England Local members marched together for the first time in the Boston Pride for the People Parade. Beginning at the finish line of the historic Boston Marathon, the parade traveled through the city’s South End before ending in the Boston Common on a beautiful Saturday. Local parade participation was organized by the New England Local’s NextGen Committee, but members of all ages joined. The contingent was a wonderful celebration of the great diversity in our New England membership. We loved the dance moves, the smiles and the positive cheer! More than 300 groups and an estimated 10,000 participants marched in the parade.
