On Friday, March 31, the SAG-AFTRA New York Conservatory kicked off in-person programming at the New York Local office with Booked It!, a workshop taught by long-time Conservatory teacher Jill Stern.

Moving from script to self-taped audition to final cut, this workshop provided a glimpse into self-taped auditions that booked jobs. Highlighting New York Conservatory actors’ recent work, attendees reviewed sides and audition tapes, followed by a clip of what the scene looked like in the final production.

The second part of the workshop focused on putting scenes on camera, with various attendees working on a scene and reviewing the playback in the room.
