Across from Lincoln Center in SAG-AFTRA’s New York national office, more than 150 leading figures in entertainment, labor, production, broadcasting and sound recording mingled and networked over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres for the union’s ninth annual Rock the City event on May 7.
The event was co-hosted by the New York Local Board and the New York Host Committee. Backstage was a media sponsor. Attendees included SAG-AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris, Executive Vice President and New York Local President Rebecca Damon as well as distinguished guests from the New York Mayor’s Office, The Ghetto Film School, the Entertainment Industry Foundation and various industry unions.
