Azita Ghanizada arrived to the U.S. as a political asylum seeker and somehow became one of the 1st women from Afghanistan to lead a US TV Series, Alphas. Azita has worked consistently in Film & TV opposite the likes of Rachel Weisz, Mahershali Ali, Sam Shepherd & Casey Affleck. She also founded MENA Arts Advocacy Coalition to fight for the inclusion and advancement of the MENA diaspora in the entertainment industry.  And in 2017, successfully built the 1st new hiring category into the industry in 37 years, MENA.  Watch her TEDxTalk, and in the latest season of HBO's Ballers, Freeform's Good Trouble, and the film Our Friend.
