Actor, Writer and Director
Maha Chehlaoui began as an actor, but in post 9-11 New York, felt compelled to transition to advocate and producer for the Arab American performance community. Maha spent 15+ years identifying talent, producing, and building infrastructure -- including the OBIE Award-winning Noor Theatre. She is now Program Director for the Think Tank for Inclusion and Equity (TTIE), a group of working TV writers advocating for an equitable entertainment industry of responsible storytelling. She is also a creative producer and consultant for theater, film, and live events through her company, Pass the Mic Media.
