In 2004, Omid booked his first on-screen role playing an Afghan interpreter on a show called JAG which was the starting point for a lot of MENA actors at that time. Ever since then he has been working steadily, most recently appearing on American Gods on Starz and The Mandalorian on Disney+. Other notable credits include Argo, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2, Homeland, and Sleeper Cell.
