If your employer has reduced your hours, shut down operations due to COVID-19, or you are otherwise unemployed, you may be eligible for unemployment assistance. If you are not eligible for typical unemployment assistance, you may qualify for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance.

We’ve built a database of state agency websites below.

The government is currently issuing stimulus payments (Economic Impact Payments). To find out if you qualify and the status of your payment, click here

Please note that all unemployment benefits can be accessed by applying on your state’s unemployment department website. These websites provide their own FAQs and detailed instructions on how to file for unemployment. All questions will need to be answered by the state’s unemployment office. These offices are currently updating their materials to account for new COVID-19 emergency unemployment benefits. You can also contact your local American Job Center for additional assistance with filling out the application.
