Nina Schick is an author and advisor specializing in Generative AI.
A renowned public speaker, Nina tells the story of how the nascent field of Generative AI will change humanity. She is also the creator of one the first Generative AI communities, ’The Era of Generative AI,’ hosted on Substack.
Nina advises several AI and technology companies in this rapidly exploding space, including Truepic — the first company to build media authentication technology, and Synthesia — the world’s first AI video-generation platform.
Nina debut book, ‘Deepfakes,’ (2020) is the first book on AI-generated content, and has been translated into five languages, including Japanese, German and Mandarin. In it, she describes how generative AI will profoundly impact humanity, predicting that over 90% of online content will be generated by AI by 2030.
Before specialising in Generative AI, Nina worked in geopolitics on global crises including the Russia-Ukraine war; Brexit; election interference; and information operations during the Covid-19 pandemic. She has advised global leaders including Joe Biden, the President of the United States; Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the former Secretary General of NATO and Emmanuel Macron, President of France.
Nina has been published by WIRED, the MIT Tech Review, The Times, and TIME amongst others. She is a regular commentator on international broadcast channels including the BBC, Sky News, Bloomberg and CNBC. She has appeared on stages including TedX, CogX and WebSummit.
