Presented in partnership with the NextGen Performers Committee, this screening and conversation is part of the new SAG-AFTRA Entertainment Contracts’ Educational Series, The Multi-hyphenates, which aims to showcase the talent of SAG-AFTRA members who successfully create their own content, and acts as a resource for performers who are interested in developing their own projects.

Synopsis: The Laura Show is a female-driven comedy series filled with hilarious and dysfunctional characters. The sketch writing and comedy timing takes a relatable and painfully honest look at our modern culture of social media, dating and finding ourselves. The quirky and sometimes idealist cast are learning to laugh at life! (Episodes 1 and 2 will be screened.)

Open Relationship follows Zach, a neurotic hopeless romantic and Pennie, a controlling free-spirit, who enter into an open relationship in order to avoid the pain of monogamous relationships. As Zach comes to understand what being in an open relationship actually entails, he quickly realizes he doesn’t know any of the rules, as dictated by Pennie - sending them on an adventure of awkward and conflicting situations. (Full season will be screened.)
