Tell Us Your Story Disclaimer Submission Guidelines Members should submit photos or short videos of no more than 60 seconds. Stories should be no longer than 250 words. Any content you submit should be your original creation – we want to hear your story. Logos, artwork, slogans, or any other copyrighted or trademarked indicia should not appear recognizably in the video or photo, including on clothing. For example: You should not use artwork, posters, etc. as a background for your photo or video. A blank wall is preferable. You should not wear items of clothing that prominently display the logo of a company, sports team, band, etc., that bear slogans unrelated to the campaign, or that have graphic designs. Of course, items of clothing bearing the new SAG-AFTRA logo and slogans are acceptable. Videos should be in the following formats: .MOV, .MPEG4, MP4, .AVI, .WMV, .MPEGPS, .FLV, 3GPP, WebM Photos should be in the following formats: High resolution JPEG or TIF If you are not the individual depicted in the photo or video or multiple individuals appear in the photo or video, it will be your responsibility to obtain appropriate permissions from all individuals appearing in the photo or video. You will need to provide the full name and email address of each individual. Failure to comply with any of the above guidelines will prevent us from using your video submission. Submit a Photo or Video By submitting your photo, video, and/or story (“Submission”) you grant to SAG-AFTRA permission to use the Submission in connection with SAG-AFTRA’s organizing and educational efforts, including on its website(s) (including but not limited to www.sagaftra.org), its social media pages and YouTube channel(s), as part of a compilation of similar content, or in any other media consistent with this paragraph. SAG-AFTRA may utilize your Submission, in whole or in part, and may combine it with other content, including in print or video format.
