SAG-AFTRA NED and Chief Negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland and Fast Company Editor-in-Chief Brendan Vaughan sit down at the annual SXSW Festival to discuss how AI is reshaping the entertainment industry and its role in the future of film, TV and interactive media.

A galaxy of stars streamed down the Silver Carpet at the 30th Annual SAG Awards on February 24. Actors Robert Downey Jr., Jennifer Anniston, Pedro Pascal, Lily Gladstone, and more kicked off the globally televised event celebrating the TV shows, films, and performances that kept us on the edge of our seats, holding back tears and celebrating the triumphs of the human spirit.

Recognizing the tireless efforts of those who supported SAG-AFTRA and served the union’s picket lines during the 118-day strike, National Executive Director and Chief Negotiator Duncan Crabtree-Ireland delivered a message acknowledging labor leaders, the negotiating committee, President Fran Drescher, as well as SAG-AFTRA’s 850 volunteer strike captains while he spoke to the attendees of the 30th Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium.
