Understanding Residuals for SAG-AFTRA Performers

This presentation will focus on television, theatrical and new media residuals; a presentation on commercials residuals will be scheduled for a later date. 

 

This conversation may be a first for young performers, or a refresher for our more seasoned members. We’ll cover what residuals are, how compensation is paid to performers for use of a theatrical motion picture or television program beyond the use covered by initial compensation, when residuals are paid, how residuals are calculated, how to track them and much more.
