This seminar with Casting Director Amy Gossels will touch on many of the key things actors can do to vastly improve their on-camera commercial auditions. It will also help actors understand some of the important changes in the casting process that have taken place over the past few years, so that actors can maximize their work opportunities, particularly in commercials and television. This seminar will consist of a talk by Casting Director Amy Gossels followed by on-camera work with a few of the actors in attendance and a Q&A. AMY DEVRA GOSSELS - Casting Director & Producer Since graduating Magna Cum Laude from Brown University, Ms. Gossels has cast more than 2000 commercials, including many CLIO winners, during her 24 year career as a preeminent casting director in New York City. Ms. Gossels has also been the casting director, and in many cases a producer, for more than 90 film productions. Feature film credits include Something's Gotta Give and short films she cast and produced include Academy Award Winner Zen and the Art of Landscaping.
