Important Information Regarding Next Season
Online Registration begins Wednesday, July 8
On Wednesday, July 8 an eblast will be going out to members in good standing about online registration for the upcoming 38th Season of the Film Society which will begin in September.
SAG-AFTRA members should make sure of the following:
- Your membership dues are current.
- Your contact information on file with SAG-AFTRA is accurate especially your email address.
In order to receive the email from the union for the new season your dues must be paid-up and your email address on file with the union must be accurate. Please remember that the film society screening schedule email list is separate from the general SAG-AFTRA email list and you must ensure that both have your up-to-date information.
The best way to sign up for the new season will be online when the memberships go on sale on Wednesday, July 8. When you sign up online you will get an immediate response telling you that your application has been accepted and approved. If you choose to download a printable application and mail it in on or after Friday, July 3, you will have to wait until all the processing is done – usually sometime in August – before you will be notified whether or not you are in.
The price of Film Society membership for the 2015-2016 season is:
- $140 for all members who have a TAN COLORED film society membership card and are renewing their membership.
- $150 for all new members or any member that is renewing their membership but needs a new TAN COLORED membership card.
