Seven women and one man stand in the SAG-AFTRA New York office behind a sign that reads "Blood Drive Today." There are four posters for SAG-AFTRA and the SAG-AFTRA Foundation on the wall behind them.

On March 18, 2024, the New York Local Health Care Safety Net Committee hosted the first Mike Hodge Memorial Blood Drive for Entertainment and Media Performers at the SAG-AFTRA New York office since before the pandemic. Held in conjunction with the New York Blood Center, the blood drive saw a record number of pints of blood collected at a New York Local Health Care Safety Net Committee-hosted blood drive. Attendees who came to donate blood were invited to an offsite group headshot workshop hosted by photographer Jim Manly the following week.
