Ohio-Pittsburgh Local Annual Meeting

The Ohio-Pittsburgh Local was very busy the weekend of the WIFTI Summit.

On May 18, we held our annual membership meeting at Olive or Twist in Pittsburgh. More than 30 members from all over the local joined for some great food and mingling with fellow SAG-AFTRA members.

Our guest speaker, Executive Vice President Gabrielle Carteris, opened the annual meeting with a talk that underscored the necessity of every member’s active participation in the process of strengthening our union. We were honored to have her join our annual meeting and motivate our membership. The annual meeting continued with reports on national and local business from President Paul Martino, National Board member Mark Roberts, Local Executive Director Brian Lysell, Director of Locals Administration Marcia Fishman, Broadcast Steering Committee member Rick Pfeiffer, Local Board members Mike Kraft and Joe Gunderman, and Contract Administrator Chelsea Danley.

At the annual meeting, Ohio-Pittsburgh members celebrate SAG-AFTRA’s new logo with a cake featuring the design.
